Qualifications
- Candidates must have a Ph.D. and/or M.D.
- Postdoctoral experience
- Proven track record of scientific success as evidenced by strong publication record
- Expertise in either lymphocyte or dendritic cell biology
- Expertise in autoimmune disease or TH17 biology is desirable
- Outstanding communication skills
Responsibilities
This individual will:
- Explore the mechanism of novel immunosuppressive agents
- Identify and validate new immunomodulatory pathways
- Assimilate information about various preclinical models of autoimmune disease and assess their relevance to the various programs at Lycera
- Build strong relationships with leading academic immunologists
- Direct and mentor junior staff, to optimize their productivity and career development
